With PSS, a steering system outside the entire vehicle was approved for the first time worldwide both for the TÜV-Süd and TÜV-Nord organizations and for the UN-ECE. For UN-ECE approval, a test specification was drawn up by the testing organization (based on UN-ECE Regulation R79) and approved by the higher approval authority.
